Hey everyone!

My name is Andrea, I'm a 21-year-old and currently working for Walt Disney World in Magic Kingdom in Disney Photo Imaging (or as people like to call it, "Photopass").

I just finished my 2011 Spring Disney College Program, but now I am a seasonal cast member who basically works full-time hours.

This blog is for me to tell you happenings at Walt Disney World, what's going on in my life, and to answer any questions you may have about vacations, working for the company, or just to say hello!

Hey! I'm probably going to go seasonal and I wanted to start working this summer so I can start saving up $$. I was just wondering if seasonal cast members are capped if they surpass a certain amount of hours. Lets say I pick up 32 for this week, but I extend most of those days and end up with 45. Could I get in trouble for that?

No, you won’t get in trouble! For seasonal, you’re only allowed to work 29.something hours a week. However, for 26 weeks out of the year, you’re allowed to work as much as you want. Once you work 26 weeks over 29 hours, you are then capped and you won’t be able to extend. I hope that makes sense!

Hey! Is Merida permanent in the garden now? I have yet to see her! Also, is she out all day or does she take long breaks? ;)

Merida is starting meet and greets in Fairytale Garden officially soon, I don’t think an actual date has been released. She just started appearing. And I don’t know what time she will be out, I am assuming somewhere between 9am and 7pm.
